This was my second full album after Omniverse. Lots of guitar shred and a wide range of styles from hard rock/metal to jazz.
Patrick Conlan of the Illinois Entertainer described it as having "relentless virtuosity". I don't know exactly what that means, but it sounds impressive.

Vlad's Jumbalaya Jive
This is a very campy, candy-corny, Halloween ditty from 2004 with the music written by me and the lyrics and melody written by the ghoulishly clever Stephen Jansen. I handled all of the instruments and Steve administered the vocals.
Vlad the Vampire gives up on his exotic, mysterious life in Maroussi, Greece and moves in to a Lindenhurst, IL neighborhood. Vlad is SO ecstatic that Halloween is approaching! All the kiddies dressed up like delicious, fun size Thanksgiving Turke... I mean... having fun in their spooky garb, collecting treats and dispensing tricks. That is... until they call on Vlad's humble abode!
What fate awaits the naive trick or treaters on the other side of Vlad's extra squeaky, creepy screen door?! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

This was a VERY experimental piece I did based on the idea of a sentient piece of dust traveling from the outer rim of the Solar System and making it's way towards a very heated demise in the Sun. Lots of keyboards and ambiance.
