Mike Przygoda: One of my former students and quite the man about town in the Chicago music scene. Mike gave me the honor of playing on "Gruenwald Boogie" on his newest album "Leaving Here". Definitely go check out this guy!
Mephisto: "Mephisto's goal since day one has been to create black metal that screeches darkness and screams brutality, while still being free to explore all of the other genres of metal that interest them." Valafar was a guitar student of mine back at Libertyville Music back in the day. For those of you in to black metal, you'll definitely dig this straight away. For those of you not, keep an open mind and check out these guys. The guitar solo on "End of Days" totally rips!
The Bloodline Blues Band: I've worked in some way, shape, and/or form with these guys MANY times over the years. If you're in the area, definitely go take in a Bloodline show.
The Mojo Daddies: Apparently they're not related to the Mothers of Invention, but these male, mojo toting counterparts can snap, rockle and pop like a bowl full of Rice Krispies.
