When I used to record, Annie would come sniffing at the bottom of my door trying to see what was going on. She was a WONDERFUL black and white Am Staff with the most lovable disposition of any dog I've ever known. Sadly, she passed away very unexpectedly in 2003 from cancer. It was just out of the blue and really ripped my heart out. She hadn't been sick or anything.

So, enjoy what you do and who you are with. You never know when they're going to have to leave you.

I miss you, you little gargoyle komodo!

I wrote this song back then but never got around to a finished product until 2009. It's a very upbeat tune and one I hope would have made her happy.
